This Child Safety Standards Policy explains how the MyPot citizen pothole complaint application (operated for Mira Bhayandar Municipal Corporation — MBMC) approaches child safety. The app is a municipal civic-reporting tool for pothole complaints and is not directed at children.
1. Age suitability
- MyPot is intended for use by citizens aged 18 years and above.
- We do not knowingly allow children under 18 to create accounts or submit complaints.
- We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
2. No child-directed features
The application does not include:
- Child profiles, child modes, or features designed for minors.
- In-app chat, messaging, or social networking between users.
- User-generated content feeds intended for children.
- Live streaming, dating, or unsupervised contact features.
3. Content and CSAE stance
MBMC and the MyPot platform have a zero-tolerance policy toward child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), child pornography, and any content that endangers minors.
- Such content is strictly prohibited on the platform.
- Complaint photos must relate only to pothole / road conditions for municipal repair work.
- Any media or activity that appears to involve the exploitation or endangerment of a child will be removed, accounts may be suspended, and matters may be reported to appropriate authorities as required by applicable law.

- Our team will review reports promptly, take appropriate action (including content removal and account suspension), and escalate to law enforcement where legally required.
